Posted on January 6, 2017

Blue Spark Technologies unveiled a new TempTraq wearable patch for monitoring body temperature at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show. The Bluetooth patch keeps track of child's body temperature for up to 48 hours. It works with a mobile app. It was designed to help parents care for sick children.

The flexible patch provides both real-time and historical temperature data. The data can be viewed in graphical or tabular formats with the app. The app can also send alerts if the temperature climbs above a user-set alert level.

TempTraq has a 24-hour patch already on the market. It cann be found on Amazon.com and in-stores at Walgreens, CVS, Target and other locations. The new 48-hour patch will be available for purchase in Q1 2017.
