BlackBerry has announced its new smartphone, the BlackBerry Z30. The impressive new product launch comes amidst the manufacturer's struggles to compete with Android and Apple smartphones. As Wired reports, BlackBerry announced it agreed to a sale to private Canadian financiers on Monday for $5 billion.

The BlackBerry Z30 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz processor and runs on version 10.2 of the BlackBerry 10 OS. The battery has improved and BlackBerry promises up to 10 hours of battery life. Software features include the BlackBerry Hub, which lets you manage your contacts, calendar events and social communications. The Documents to Go app lets you view and edit MIcrosoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. The phone's digital keyboard learns as you type.
