Britney Spears is the Face of New Kenzo Campaign

Posted on March 21, 2018

Britney Spears is the face of the Kenzo La Collection Memento N°2 collection. The new collection was inspired by the 1986 Paris runway debut of Kenzo Jeans. Britney is an icon and was a great choice for the campaign by creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. The campaign was photographed by Peter Lindbergh.

Britney models the cropped Bamboo Tiger Sweatershirt and she has the Kenzo Denim Kanagawa Wave Bumbag on her back in the campaign photographs seen on Vogue.

Britney told Vogue, "This collection is very youthful. We had fun on set, even though it was a bit weird for me at first. I am used to shooting in a studio or a small space, and this was on the street. We were out there and I had really promiscuous clothes on, which felt odd, but, of course, on film it turned out to be really cool.

Vogue says this is Britney's first luxury campaign. It seems impossible the luxury labels failed to involve her until now. Well done Kenzo!

Kenzo Creative director Carol Lim told People that Britney has a magnificent stage presence. We aren't surprised. Lim says, "“When she walks onto set, she’s really professional. She just owned... The minute she got into the outfit, she owned the stage and she came out and really owned… Her presence was really magnificent. I think that was exciting."

Britney also modeled denim briefs in another look from the campaign that Kenzo shared on its Instagram.
