Comme des Garcons: RTW Fall 2009

Rei Kawakubo's collection for Comme des Garcons hit many of her familiar notes and themes. She opened with models with bright pink hair and pink oversized tulle drapings and veiled faces. The next part of the show had a more military overtone with olive green coats and jackets, which then segued into a section of oversized, checked blanket coats and wraps.
Rei Kawakubo has a certain esthetic and her customer knows what she likes. If Japanese surrealism is your thing, no one does it better. Take a look:
