Emily Blunt Wears Prada Gown on the Red Carpet at the 2016 Oscars

Emily Blunt looked lovely on the red carpet at the 88th Academy Awards. Emily presented the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay to the writers of Spotlight with the help of Charlize Theron.

Emily wore a a Prada blush pink cady empire waist gown, which was embellished with crystal and damier embroidery. She accessorized with dramatic statement earrings in 18k white gold and diamonds from the Niwaka Umeutage Collection, as well as a diamond bracelet and ring. The Umeutage Collection features florals and intricate latticework, which are the perfect accent for Emily's spring gown.

Emily is expecting her second child with husband John Krasinski. They are already parents to Hazel, who is two years old.

Emily will be playing the Ice Queen in the upcoming film The Huntsman: Winter's War, which arrives in theaters in April. She is also currently in talks to play Mary Poppins based on the popular British books by P.L. Travers. According to Variety the film will be set 20 years after the events in the first film which starred Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke. The new film will be set in Depression-era London and will continue the adventures of Mary Poppins and the children.

The 1964 film Mary Poppins won Best Picture and Julie Andrews won Best Actress for her portrayal of the magical nanny who arrives in pre-War London to help the Banks children broaden their horizons.
