Jennifer Lopez Says Wedding Ring Didn't Go With Her Dress at Globes

Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez did not wear her wedding ring to the Golden Globes Sunday night. However, she did attend the awards with her husband Marc Anthony.
The New York Daily News says Jennifer Lopez dismissed divorce rumors in a new In Touch Weekly interview. In the interview, JLo explained that the reason she sometimes doesn't wear her wedding ring is that it clashes with her outfit.
"Every time I'm not wearing my ring, people think I'm getting divorced," says Lopez, who doffed her diamond for the Golden Globes."That's crazy! It just didn't go with the dress."
Ring or no ring we still thought Jennifer Lopez looked fabulous at the Golden Globes in her low cut Marchesa gown.
Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony showed no sign of marital discord as they walked the red carpet last night at the Golden Globes, although Jennifer wasn't wearing her wedding band. She opened the show and when the chatty crowd wouldn't stop talking so she could begin, Jennifer admonished "Mama talkin' -- Mama talkin'" They quieted down after that: we thought it was hilarious.
We say fooey to the naysayers: we loved Jen's low cut Marchesa gown. It's actually a white gown with gold bugle beads, although it did look like it was gold lame from some angles on television. Jennifer accessorized with lovely Roger Vivier heels, a Lambertson Truex clutch and a stunning bracelet and earrings from Lorraine Schwartz. Her makeup was subtle and she wore her hair pulled back in a tight chignon. We loved it.
Jennifer was not actually scheduled to open the Globes. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were supposed to open, but reportedly backed out after the rumors went around about how the Oscars are trying to take away the Globes' thunder and were actively discouraging potential nominees from presenting at the Globes. That seems a bit silly, but that's the rumor today. In any event, Jennifer stepped in a did a fabulous job.
