Kate Spade Saturday and eBay Launch Shoppable Windows in New York City

>Kate Spade Saturday and eBay have launched Window Shops in New York City. The products in this shops can be purchased using a huge shoppable window screen in front of the store window.

Reuters reports that the screens are 9 feet across and 2 feet high. Reuters says eBay also plans to provide shoppable windows for Juicy Couture.

The shoppable windows work with your smartphone so your private information is not displayed on the huge window screen that everyone can see. The actual products are displayed in the window behind the shoppable screen.

It is interesting but it doesn't look easier than shopping from home. Plus, if you are there in person you are going to want to handle the merchandise before you buy it, but you can't with this type of shopping experience. However, it does over a way to shop when a physical store is closed. Glamour reports that products can be delivered by courier in as little as an hour, so that is a plus. Take a look:
