Amazon Launches Smart Plug

Amazon has launched its own smart plug to compete with the growing number of smart plugs already on the market. The Amazon Smart Plug works with Alexa to add voice control to any outlet. It has a compact design so the second outlet remains free to use. The smart plug can be controlled (turned on and off) using the Alexa voice app on a smartphone once it is plugged in. It is designed to work with Alexa and not other voice assistant technologies.
