Amelia Earhart Barbie is Ready for Adventure

Mattel has launched an Amelia Earhart Barbie doll. The doll is part of the Barbie Inspiring Women Series. Amelia is wearing her aviator outfit which includes a jacket, bodysuit, scarf and helmet. Her accessories include goggles and a map. The doll retails for $29.99.

Barbie herself recently weighed in on the Amelia Earhart Story as part of the Barbie Vlogs series.

Here is a video showing the complete series of new role model dolls featuring Amelia. The collection also includes Ibtihaj Muhammad, Misty Copeland, Gabby Douglas, Ashley Graham, Patty Jenkins, Helene Darroze, Katherine Johnson, Hui Ruoqi, Nicola Adams OBE and Frida Kahlo.
