Hallmark is Relaunching Its Shoebox Card Line

Hallmark is relaunching its humorous Shoebox line of greeting cards. The company says it is a total brand overhaul for the line to give it a new modern look. The line was first introduced in 1986. Some of the new cards reference Internet use, fast fashion, drinking, pets. birthdays and more. The card below shows a dog that doesn't want to look his owner in the eye after seeing his browser history. Another card says, "Happy 29th Again."

Sarah Tobaben, humor creative strategist at Hallmark, says in a statement, "To stay relevant, we made sure to focus the new cards in a way that reflects how people today talk, text, tweet and post."

The cards hit stores this summer. Prices for the cards start at $2.99. Here are some of the new Shoebox cards being read aloud by Hallmark writers. That card with the rainbow unicorn kitten on it looks cute. It's a caticorn. Take a look:
