Lucky Charms Adds Magical Unicorn Marshmallows

Lucky Charms has added a new permanent marshmallow called Magical Unicorn. The marshmallow has a unicorn shape and a mane featuring purples and blues. The unicorn can also be seen on the new Lucky Charms packaging.

General Mills says the new marshmallow charm was selected by children. Josh DeWitt, marketing manager of Lucky Charms, says in the announcement, "Our goal is to not only create a cereal that families and cereal fans will love and enjoy, but to inspire magical possibilities and help spark imagination and fun no matter what the age. That's why, after 10 years, we decided to introduce a new charm with the help of the keepers of magic themselves – kids. They spoke, and after hearing their love for the magical unicorn, we listened."

The magical unicorn marshmallow replaces the magical hourglass charm. The eight lucky charm lineup now includes: hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers, blue moons, rainbows, red balloons and magical unicorns. Here's a closer look at the magical unicorn marshmallow:
