Polaris Launches Spabot Robotic Spa Cleaner

Polaris has launched a robotic spa cleaner called Spabot. The small robot was designed to clean spas and hot tubs.

Spabot has 60 minute cleaning cycle. Polaris says it will clean fine debris including sand, silt, leaves and pine needles. The robot's canister holds up to 1 liter of dirt and debris. The canister has a transparent window so you know when to empty it.

The robot weighs 6 lbs and has a handle for easy carrying. It floats to the surface after it has finished cleaning - a feature Polaris calls "Float Finish Retrieval."

Spabot contains a lithium-ion battery and has a four hour recharge time.
