Under Armour launched its first line of Micro G basketball shoes in October 2010. WWD reports that an Under Armour line of basketball sneakers had been rumored for the previoius past two years.
Under Armour's first line was available only in parts of the Northeast - the "I-95 corridor" between Washington, D.C., and New York. The shoes were initally sold at Foot Locker, Finish Line, Modell's, DLTR, Villa and Jimmy Jazz and were priced between $80 and $110.
Update 9-26-2020: Under Armour has continued the Micro G line. They can now be found at many online retailers as well as in stores. The names of some of the lines have included Black Ice, Blur, Asset, Anatomix, Defy, Stealth and Pursuit.
Here's a video of the UA Micro G Anatomix Spawn that was released in October 2013.
The Micro G Pursuit is one of the most popular Micro G shoes today. Under Armour says the Micro G foam insole "turns cushioned landings into explosive takeoffs." It is available on Amazon.com in multiple colorways.
