Ashley Greene Talks Intense Workouts With Shape Magazine

Actress Ashley Greene covers the April 2016 issue of Shape magazine. She wears a crop top and bikini bottom on the cover. She's also wearing a 4-part cuff on her left hand.
Ashley's intense workouts including climbing 4,000 feet at least three time a week. She uses a machine called a VersaClimber. Shape says Ashley also pushes a 100-pound sled in the gym. Some of her other fitness routines include weights, kick boxing and ball throws.
Ashley's advice for those seeking to get in shape is too get up early. She says, "To fit my workout into my day, I have to be out the door early. That means I don't have time to think about whether I'm tired or to come up with excuses. And I've found that when I exercise in the morning, I have a much more productive day. After I finish my workout, I feel as if I can conquer the world."
She finds the climbing exercise is fun in addition to building her strength. She says, "It's an insane full-body workout that gets your cardiovascular levels very high very quickly. It really pushes you, but it's so fun that it's addictive."
Ashley's diet includes chicken, fish and veggies. Instead of pasta she eats spaghetti squash and instead of mashed potatoes she eats mashed cauliflower. When she cheats she goes for grits, cheese, red wine and Mast Brothers Sea Salt Chocolate.
For a break from her fitness sessions Ashley loves the outdoors. She tells Shape, "Getting outdoors is so refreshing to me. It's a combination of the exercise, soaking up my surroundings, and clearing my mind. It's my happy place."
Ashley's upcoming films include In Dubious Battle and Max & Me. She voices Batgirl in some of the Batman video games, including Batman: Arkham Knight.Here is Ashley's behind-the-scenes video:
