Axis Drones Unveils Aerius, the World's Smallest Quadcopter

Axis Drones has launched its latest drone called Aerius. Axis says the drone is the world's smallest quadcopter at 3cm x 3cm x 2cm. The tiny drone looks nearly bug sized as it flies around.

The drone features 6-axis gyro-stabilization. It has LED lights for night flying. The drone gets 5-7 minutes of flight time with a 15 minute charge. It comes with a compact 2.4 gHz controller.

Aerius has a headless mode for beginner flight orientation. It also has a pre-programmed trick mode algorithm. Axis says its little drone is a great way to practice flying drones inside the house.

Axis sells the tiny quadcopter for $35. It is available in four colors: orange, blue, green and black. Here is a video of the tiny drone in action:
