Fun World Creates BP Oil Spill Halloween Costumes

Posted on October 9, 2010

Fun World, the company behind the mask used in Scream, has created costumes inspired by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill and BP's PR disaster. In these costumes the BP stands for "bad planning."

The Times says Fun World plans to make 10,000 of the costumes. A portion of the proceeds from the costumes will go toward victims of the oil spill in the Gulf states. The oil splattered costumes can be found on the Anytime Costumes website.

In this New York Post report, Fun World's executive vice president Alan Geller explains how they modified bloody mechanics costumes to make the oil spill Halloween costumes.
