Chess Armory makes a great portable chess set if you are looking to play chess on the go. Kids can use the set to play chess in the car, on the plane or in a train.
The Chess Armory Travel Set measures 9.5 x 9.5 inches. The magnetic playing board also acts as a storage box. It folds in half and the chess pieces can be stored inside.
The magnetic Staunton chess playing pieces have a felt bottom. The King piece is 2 inches tall. The set comes with 2 extra Queen pieces.
