KitchenAid Launches Grain and Rice Cooker
Posted on March 12, 2024
KitchenAid has launched its first rice cooker. The KitchenAid Grain and Rice Cooker features an integrated water tank, touch screen and automatic scale.
The water tank works with an internal scale to dispense just the right amount of water you need. KitchenAid says an integrated scale inside the cooker "automatically senses the amount of grains, rice or beans you've added in order to calculate the ideal water-to-grain ratio for what you're cooking."
The cooker has 21 preset options for rice, beans, oats, couscous, quinoa, barley, farro and more.
It comes with a steamer basket that fits over the cooking pot. It can be used to steam vegetables and other food items while you are cooking your rice.
The cooker has an 8 cup capacity. It also has keep warm and delayed cook features.
