Adidas Launches ClimaCool Ride Running Shoe

Posted on March 23, 2011

Adidas has launched its ClimaCool Ride shoes, a running shoe with 360 degree ventilation. Adidas says its new shoe helps runners battle high humidity and temperature.

Adidas says the ClimaCool material that makes up the upper portion of the shoe provides ventilation around key sweat zones resulting in a 20% reduction in in-shoe moisture and a 12% drop in foot temperature.

Mikal Peveto, director of running for adidas America, says, "At 8.9 ounces, it's lightweight and flexible with just the right amount of durability and cushioning, making it the ideal running shoe for spring and summer."

The new footwear comes in 26 different colors. Here's a review of the Climacool 1 sneaker from Zappos.
