Mila Kunis Stars in Gemfields Rubies Short Film

Actress Mila Kunis stars in a new Gemfields campaign about rubies. The campaign includes a short film directed by art photographer Jeff Burton. In the film, Mila models jewelry by Faberge, Georg Jensen, Spinelli Kilcollin, Gyan by Gem Plaza and Miiori.
Mila is an ambassador for Gemfields. She was named the face of the brand in March 2013. She has appeared in campaigns photographed by Peter Lindbergh and Mario Sorrenti. She also helped designed a ring with Gemfields and Marina B last year to celebrate motherhood and benefit the Nkana Health Center.
Mila says in a statement, "Working on this film with Gemfields and Jeff Burton was an amazing experience. I was given the opportunity to try and capture the allure and passion that rubies evoke in an unexpected way. I believe it will help to inspire a whole new generation to fall in love with this rarest of gemstones."
Gemfields says the short film was created to the launch of responsibly sourced Mozambican rubies from the Cabo Delgado province of Mozambique. The short film features the song "Cascade" by William Basinksi. Take a look:
