Burger King Unveils Social Distancing Crowns
Posted on May 30, 2020
Burger King has unveiled an oversized crown to help people with social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic. The crowns have a large diameter to keep people from entering your space.
The funny crowns were unveiled by Burger King Germany. The image shows two Burger King customers wearing the crown while eating Whoppers. It is a fun idea. The crown looks to have a diameter of about six feet. If someone is next to you not wearing a crown they would still be closer than six feet to you. It does work out to six feet if both people are wearing crowns.
Burger King told Business Insider, "We wanted to reinforce the rules of high safety and hygiene standards that the BK restaurants are following. The do-it-yourself social-distance crown was a fun and playful way to remind our guests to practice social distancing while they are enjoying food in the restaurants."
Burger King shared the image in a tweet, writing, "distancing, but make it fashion."
