Marvel has unveiled a new line of Black Panther merchandise including toys, apparel, comics, role-play items and more. Marvel has also released a new Black Panther comic. The character makes his first film debut in Captain America: Civil War, which arrives in theaters in May.

The toys include new Black Panther action features. There are standalone figures as well as team-oriented sets inspired by the new film. The collection also includes role-playing items such as masks and clawed gloves. Marvel says the Black Panther will also be featured in Lego sets.

Black Panther apparel lines will be created by Mad Engine, C-Life, Freeze, and Fifth Sun. Fast Forward and Global Design Concepts are developing Black Panther bags. Other products will include Funk bobbleheads, Dorbz vinyls, Mopeez plush toys and wall art from Artissimo and Pyramid.

Paul Gitter, senior vice president, licensing, Marvel at Disney Consumer Products, says in the announcement, "With a new comic book and his first appearance in a Marvel film both occurring during his 50th anniversary year, excitement is already underway for Black Panther product. We are excited to debut this all-new lineup of offerings so fans can start showing off their love for the newest member of the Avengers team."

The 12-inch Marvel Black Panther Titan Hero Series action figure has 5-point articulation and can be found on Amazon.com. There is also a premium action figure, the Marvel Legends Series Black Panther figure. It has an alternate head, 2 alternate heads, spear accessory and over 30 points of articulation. It can also be found on Amazon.com.

The new Black Panther comic book launched earlier this month. It is written by Ta-Nehisi Coates with art by Brian Stelfreeze. It is available for purchased on Amazon.com.
