Just Born Launches Peeps Marshmallow Minions

The Minions are the adorable yellow silly creatures in the films Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2. Some of them have one eye while others have two. Just Born has partnered with Universal Studios and created some marshmallow Peeps candy designed to look like the minions. The candy is called Peeps Marshmallow Minions. The Peeps Minions are yellow just like the movie characters.

Just Born says on its Facebook page that the candy is now available at local retailers for a limited time. Some commenters are saying the Peeps Minions have not yet arrived on the West coast. The packaging on the Peeps Marshmallow Minions contain short comic strips. The names of some of the minions converted into marshmallow form include Stuart, Kevin and Dave.

If you cannot find the minion Peeps candy in your store then you can buy it online from the Peeps and Company website. The marshmallow candy can be found here. It costs $2 for a package of six Peeps or $21.50 for a case of twelve. Just Born doesn't say how long the Peeps Minions will be available, only that the product will be offered for a limited time. If you manage to get enough of the Peeps Minions' packages to give out for Halloween you could have the most popular house on the block.

The Minions will be starring in a movie of their own next July called Minions. They will also return in Despicable Me 3, which will be released in 2017. The Minions can be seen looking up at the marshmallow versions of themselves on the packaging.
