Scholastic Store Toyland Express 2011 Window

The Scholastic Store at 557 Broadway has unveiled its 2011 Holiday Window. The window, named "Toyland Express," was inspired by Walter Wick's newest book, Can You See What I See? Toyland Express. It is the latest entry in the puzzlebook series. The store window provides a look inside a 3-D toy shop from the 1950s with original toys and props from Walter Wick's studio, including miniature figurines, vintage teddy bears, dolls, and the Toyland Express toy train.

Walter Wick also wrote a riddle for the window. Children solving the riddle can bring their answers to The Scholastic Store to receive 20% off their purchase of the book. Here is a video of the book and a look at Wick's studio, which is full of vintage toys. The rhymes in the book are about the least obvious items in the photos. Wick also talks about Seymour who hides in the books. Take a look:
