Starbucks has announced it will bring back its holiday red cups on November 10th. The red cups are a solid red color with the Starbucks logo in the middle. They have a white lid.

Starbucks will also bring back its share a holiday beverage promotion. Starbucks customers who buy one holiday beverage and can get another one of equal or lesser value free to share. This promotion will run from November 10-14 from 2-5 p.m. Starbucks says the following beverages are eligible for the promotion: Chestnut Praline Latte, Peppermint Mocha and Skinny Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Gingerbread Latte, Eggnog Latte, Teavana Joy Brewed Tea, and Spiced Sweet Cream Nariño 70 Cold Brew.

There was concern among some Starbucks fans that the recent green cup design was replacing the red holiday cups but that is not the case. Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz said the green cups design was meant to remind everyone of our "shared values and the need to be good to each other."

The limited green cups feature a drawing of lots of people. They were designed by artist Shogo Ota. Here is a video about Ota and the green cups:
