Texas SkyScreamer is World's Tallest Swing Ride

The Texas SkyScreamer has set the Guinness World Record as the world's tallest swing carousel ride. The ride at Six Flags in Arlington, Texas stands 402 feet and 10 inches tall. It moves at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour.
Steve Martindale, Six Flags Over Texas park president, said in a statement, "The notion that everything is bigger in Texas certainly rings true now that the Texas SkyScreamer has officially been named the world's tallest swing ride. We are proud to have this iconic landmark serve as a source of entertainment for families and thrill-seekers near and far."
