Video: Miss USA Rima Fakih Previews Her Eagle Costume

Miss USA, Rima Fakih, made a video with a sneak peek of her USA costume that she will wear at the pageant on Monday night. Rima went to Martin Izquierdo, who designs all the angel wings for the Victoria's Secret fashion shows (which Rima just loves). Rima wanted to honor the eagle and so Martin and his team whipped up a set of golden eagle wings for her and a matching gold costume.
It's pretty cool, actually. So is the video, although you will have to endure Rima's puzzling personal message to President Obama at the beginning. Something about the eagle being a spiritual messenger and symbol of love? Whatever.
Anyway, eventually she does get to the eagle costume. We were worried she'd look like she was wearing Victoria's Secret underwear to represent the USA, but Martin and his team didn't let us down. The costume is more Wonder Woman than Victoria's Secret Angel: it's fierce. Our only critique is that she needs a pop of red, white and blue with all that gold. And we do hope she's getting lessons in how to walk in those wings. Take a look:
