Kohl's to Open Babies R Us Shops Inside Its Stores

Kohl's has announced plans to open hundreds of Babies'R'Us shops inside some of its stores. The deal is through a partnership with WHP Global, which acquired Babies R Us in 2021.
Kohl's will open the first of the Babies'R'Us stores in August and plans to open up to 200 of them by fall 2024. The shops inside Kohl's will range from 750 to 2,500 square feet. They will carry baby gear, activity, bath, furniture, feeding, and safety products.

Tom Kingsbury, Kohl's chief executive officer, says in the announcement, "We see significant opportunity in the baby gear category, and partnering with Babies'R'Us is another example of how we are finding new ways to optimize our assortment and further establish Kohl’s as the go-to brand for families."
WHP Global also owns Toys R Us and launched a similar Toys R Us shops in Macy's deal in 2022.
WHP also has a flagship store opening for Babies R Us this year. The store will be located at the American Dream mall in New Jersey.
