BMW Unveils Vision Next 100 Concept Car

BMW has unveiled its futuristic Vision Next 100 concept car. The car was launched to celebrate BMW's centenary. The concept car will be taken on a world tour.

Harald Kruger, Chairman of the Board of BMW AG, says in a statement, "At the BMW Group, we are always on a quest for the best solution. It's part of our DNA. It's also the spirit of our collaborations, a recurring theme that permeates our corporate and leadership culture."

BMW says its engineers looked at trends and technological developments when they were designing Next 100 concept car. This includes an Ease Mode which provides "fully-automated driving with the opportunity to relax, work or be entertained." Many people are certainly ready for "Ease mode" when you don't have to worry about driving and can get something else done during a long road trip or long commute.

In a video about the concept car BMW says in the future the digital and analog world will work together seamlessly. This means parts of the car will be moving and relating to the digital information the car is receiving. Take a look:
