Godiva Introduces New Chocolate Named After Caroline Wozniacki

Posted on September 4, 2015

Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki helped Godiva serve the brand's soft serve ice cream at the MetLife Godiva boutique in New York City. Caroline is the Godiva Global Ambassador. Godiva also introduced a limited edition Caroline chocolate in her honor.

The Caroline chocolate features tennis rackets and a tennis ball. The new chocolate has a strawberry filling. It is available for a limited time free with the purchase of any Godiva soft serve at New York City Godiva boutiques through the end of the U.S. Open on September 13.

Caroline said in a statement, "I've always been a big fan of Soft Serve. My father used to reward me after a big match or practice with a tasty frozen treat, so it's very fitting and special to be working with Godiva Soft Serve in advance of my next big game."

Godiva first announced its partnership with Caroline in February 2015. Caroline also appeared to be eating some of the soft serve ice cream at the Godiva boutique. There is a cool mural of Lady Godiva behind Caroline at the Godiva boutique.

Carolina tweeted a photo of her consuming a Godiva cone and wrote, "When @Godiva puts you behind the counter and doesn't tell you you are not supposed to eat the all their product!"

Caroline consumed some Godiva strawberries in a video shared by Godiva Chocolates UK earlier this year. Take a look:
