Chanel Launches J12 Diving Watch Line

Chanel is launching its first diving watch line called J12, which is waterproof to 300 meters. Features include self-winding mechanical Swiss movement, rubber matte strap, and steel notched rotating bezel. The watches' numbers and hands glow-in-the-dark. The watches, which come in blue, black and white, will cost $4,700 for a 38 mm. and $4,900 for a 42 mm.
Surfer Laird Hamilton tested the watch. He told WWD, "It stays on my arm. A watch is going to take a beating getting banged around on surfboards and paddles, which is why probably every other watch I've ever had I've lost."
