Dolce & Gabbana and Smeg FAB28 refrigerator limited edition

Dolce & Gabbana and Smeg have collaborated on a special line of refrigerators. The two Italian companies created a special edition of the Smeg FAB28 refrigerator. 100 of the refrigerators have been painted in the style of the iconic Sicilian horse drawn carts.

Dolce & Gabbana says in the announcement that the refrigerators feature images that are all distinctive elements of the poetic marionette theater and the Sicilian Cart. D&G says they are also "important aspects of the aesthetic of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana." The images include lemons, the trinacria symbol, cart wheels, medieval knights and battle scenes.

Vogue reports that the limited-edition hand-painted fridges will retail for $34,140. You can see the regular FAB28 refrigerator here. Smeg also has a cool retro line of smaller fridges called the FAB5.
