Marion Cotillard Covers Vogue Paris

Posted on August 21, 2010

Actress Marion Cotillard graces the September 2010 issue of Vogue Paris. Marion gives an intense eyebrowless stare on the cover photo, which was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Marion can say a lot with just a look, as anyone who has seen Inception knows.

This is the first time Vogue Paris picked an actress for a September cover since they chose Nicole Kidman in 2005 according to Fashionista. It has been included in a Vogue Paris exhibit of dozens of Mert & Marcus covers for the fashion magazine.

Marion returned to Vogue Paris in 2012. You can see this cover on vogue.fr.

Marion is back on the cover of Vogue Paris again for April 2020. In the cover feature on vogue.fr, Marion discusses Jean-Paul Gaultier. Marion was a freelance stylist at the time.

Marion says, "I first met Jean-Paul Gaultier in the 1990s when I had a meeting in his couture house. At the time, I was working as a freelance stylist, and I enjoyed spending time with its press team, irresistible to possibilities."

Marion's beautiful eyebrows are back in the 2020 cover unlike the cover from over ten years ago.
