New PowerFlare Light Could Replace Flares

A new type of safety light improves on the old-fashioned flare technology. The device is a battery powered LED safety light called the PowerFlare. The light was invented by a police officer. It emits lights in all directions and can be seen for miles at night. The light is about the size of a hockey puck.
The PowerFlare comes in a rechargeable version and a version that runs on a CR123 lithium battery. The LED battery-powered flares can even be programmed to blink SOS.
