Shay Mitchell Covers Cosmopolitan in a Red Swimsuit

Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell covers the June 2016 issue of Cosmopolitan. She's wearing a red swimsuit with cutouts on the cover. The cover shoot was photographed by James Macari.
Shay has amassed a large following on Instagram and Twitter. She has 12 million followers on her Instagram account, @shaym and over 3.25 million on Twitter, @shaymitch. She talks about Snapchat in the Cosmo interview.
She says, "My Instagram is like an art gallery - no blurry photos. Come to Snapchat and see it all being made. Instagram is the appetizer. Snapchat is the meal."
She also talked about her career before her Pretty Little Liars hit. She says, "I have so much respect for waiters, waitresses, girls who work in clubs. It's tough. I'd have old guys saying 'You're so pretty, why are you working?' or, 'Come live with me, honey.' Like, what, so I can be taken care of? That's the last thing that I want. What I wanted to say was, '[I work] so I will never end up with someone like you."
Shay shared an image from her Cosmo shoot and said she was giving her best "mermaid caught in a net" look. She wears the netting over white swimwear.
Shay talked about what she plans to do after Pretty Little Liars and it sounds like she is ready to run her own business. She says, "I'd rather have a company. I don't want to be dependent on a call from my agent - taking projects I'm not OK with because I need to. To be honest, winning an Oscar is not one of my goals."
